Bricks & Pavers - Australia's low maintenance building materials. Inspiring home designs & information.
The two day course has both theoretical and practical components and covers general cleaning and correct identification and removal of all common brickwork stains.
Upon completion of the course brick cleaners will be assessed on site, formally completing the accreditation process. All accredited brick cleaners will then be listed on the brick industry’s website at www.thinkbrick.com.au.
Builders in New South Wales who use accredited brick cleaners from the website list will have their work warranted by the manufacturer whose bricks were cleaned. If the work is carried out by a non accredited
cleaner rectification costs will be borne by the builder and brick cleaner.
As an incentive for brick cleaners to become accredited the New South Wales brick industry has agreed to fund the full cost of courses for NSW brick cleaners who have twelve months experience in brick cleaning or a trade certificate.
Courses are currently scheduled monthly at Randwick TAFE college. A maximum of 12 cleaners will be accepted for each course and on
site assessment.
