PROJECT SUMMARY - 5 Charlton Rd, Eaglemont (Vic)

Completed in 2009, this modern house was designed by Carabott Holt Architects Pty Ltd and built by Deco Holdings Group. The Boral Brick Mocha 50mm has been used throughout the entire dwelling. The inspiration for this design comes from the work of famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright; with wide eaves, high ceiling and that classic modern design that appears to never date. This style of design compliments the surrounding area whilst also standing out as a fine piece of architecture in the streetscape.

A quoining technique has been used on the front façade to make the 50mm bricks a stand out feature in the dwelling. This also shows the high level of craftsmanship used on the project. The bricks are also used and featured in the landscaping of the house and complement the garden.
