Nudgee Junior College Library

The Nudgee Junior College Library is the link of the campus between the recently completed GLAs and the refurbished hall within the site. The Library demonstrates a bright and friendly response to the site surroundings by utilising the vibrant colours throughout the building.

The relationship the library now provides between the existing buildings is a beautiful multi-level piece of architecture that takes advantage of the steep site on the Brisbane river and acts as the shining star with it's beautiful glass facade and consistent use of brick work.

Boral Flame Red was chosen as the feature Brick for his project with Boral Blue Rio also used for the featured banding. These two architectural bricks complemented the earthy tones of the landscape and other building products used throughout the project. This project was constructed by Stokes Wheeler who have a track record in delivering outstanding results. The excellent craftsmanship on this project was carried out by Betterlay Bricklayers.
