John Mongard Landscape Architects have  created a new streetscape with wider footpaths, better waiting areas and paved courtyard areas.

The improved landscape aims to create a strong first impression and unify the disparate architectural structures on campus.

It will also:

Two new entry forecourts with circular awnings and shaded stone seating form the visual focus for a new streetscape edge incorporating new wider footpaths, better waiting areas with benches and an avenue of trees and palms for shade and colour.

The paving is a 3-tone combination of large format clay pavers with green granite panels, used to create a high quality civic character. These pavers were selected to harmonise with existing stencilled concrete treated areas.

The front lawn area is retained and improved for formal impact and for group gatherings. Flowering hedges are used to screen the clutter of structures at eye level height.

New courtyard works and assembly areas are paved in bold grids of large format clay pavers and key areas utilise a combination of stone and clay paving to designate important focus points. New courtyard landscapes include the middle school courtyard and the new arts precinct courtyard to the east of the campus.
